There was a time when phone calls were expensive and I would continually look for various ways to get the message across to my friends and this has evolved over time. Started with the SMS where I send short messages to my friends, but this too came at a cost, which even today is about 5 cents for 160 characters.
Then there came the Internet and instant messaging, allowing various parties to hold conversations over the Internet, firstly this is “free” as I just need a active Internet connection and I can chat away. Unlike the phone or SMS this provided a cost effective solutions to spend time chatting with friends.
Instant messaging being popular with most of us and has now become the next wave of over the air conversations and our mobile devices equipped with HSDPA allows us to get on the net and chat with friends anywhere we are

Nokia has enabled their handsets to also provide instant messaging services and using Nokia Messaging I can enable chat via Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger or Ovi Communities. This will keep me connected my friends wherever I may be and I do not need to sit behind a computer before I can keep myself updated with the happenings of my friends.
So check out Nokia messaging and enable instant messaging on the go!

It’s going to Hong Kong first before making it’s stop in Singapore. Rumor has it that the phone will be retailing for approximately HK$4000 with a contract that’s about S$700 for the phone. Things sure do not look promising and I wonder what the launch price will be? Sigh… [...]

I guess it’s a no brainer for most people cause the rational is quite simple. Since I’m going to be using my phone for the next X years why not just re-contract and enjoy a smashing new handset at a subsidised price?

My colleague purchased the phone over the weekend and told me about the deal that Singtel is running for the newly launched phone. Quite a good deal for such a phone with such good connectivity.

It’s coming soon, hurray the mobile device which I am so waiting for. I’ve always been so fascinated by this little portable wonder.

With the not so successful nGage, or that’s in my opinion. Nokia is in the process of creating yet another “gaming console”. Personally I’m quite skeptical about the feasibility of the phone, with the Nintendo DS and the PSP, portable gaming consoles have become very advanced and not to mention the many companies which are [...]
Here’s an odd one for you, a Nokia patent application just revealed those images above. The odd part is not so much the slider mechanism they are attempting to patent. Rather, it’s the use of those dumbed-down product images instead of the purposely vague schematic usually submitted to the USPTO. And if we’re not mistaken, [...]
“Of course the 3G iPhone is coming, that’s clearly in the evolution plan. As Jobs said himself, it’s only a matter of time until improved batteries allow for it. Still, when AT&T’s CEO Randall Stephenson says, “You’ll have it next year,” well, our ears tend to perk up.” - via engadget

Just last week, two of my friends were frantically trying to find the Nokia E90. But to our surprise there was a lack of stocks. Finally! How can you deny women their passion for pink? I was at Plaza Singapura the other night trying to get hooked up with a great deal for the E65. Yeah, it only cost S$88 with a 2 year contract, who could resist the temptation to get such a popular phone at such a fantastic [...]
When I saw the Nokia N95 and what it could do, I was quite impressed at how much power Nokia managed to squeeze into such a small form factor. It uses one of the fastest processors for the Symbian OS, ARM-11 based Texas Instruments OMAP2420 runing at 330MHz and has a 2D/3D graphic accelerator.
The phone [...]
