Well the price plans seem steep and buying the phone seems quite steep as well. So I think I’ll wait and see what Singtel has to offer before I head down and perhaps grab one for myself.
I found out about this game from my manager who played it on his Nokia 6210, yeah it’s a ermz… entry level phone but running Symbian. So this little Java game got me intrigued and I search all over the net to find this game.
Guess what! It’s a free download or so I think, anyway [...]
I remembered that Starhud did some streaming for the olympics channels [...]
Tada!! Introducting the Nokia powerpack DC-1, looks nice and keeps your phone juiced up for all you portability needs. Pretty expensive though, at approximately 105 euros a pop, I [...]
Miniaturisation of parts and packing more into the phone all placed into a small encasement would [...]
Apologies for the lack in [...]
Thanks Nokia for the tickets to the Gala Premier of Batman: The Dark Knight. Exciting show that kept me on my feet all the time, wondering what will happen next. The story is fantastic with me amazed at how twisted the author’s mind is when creating the story.
Beautiful portrayal of the Joker by the late [...]
Maybe it’s cause I too violent bah… hmm… but should it not show you the screen [...]
… in Hong Kong. The phones are out and crackers have already started their work in unlocking the phones for region use. I just though about the iPhone and it being locked to a particular vendor. Quite stupid I should say, which means I need another phone when I travel cause I will not be [...]
iPhone coming soon to Hong Kong?
It’s going to Hong Kong first before making it’s stop in Singapore. Rumor has it that the phone will be retailing for approximately HK$4000 with a contract that’s about S$700 for the phone. Things sure do not look promising and I wonder what the launch price will be? Sigh… [...]
Hmm… Nokia connecting people? Or are their service centers disconnecting them?I’ve just got to rant on this issue, there should be some changes done on the operational guidelines for the service at Nokia Care Centers! With new phones and the new features how much more time would it take for you blokes to copy the [...]
I guess it’s a no brainer for most people cause the rational is quite simple. Since I’m going to be using my phone for the next X years why not just re-contract and enjoy a smashing new handset at a subsidised price?
Currently I’m thinking if I should wait out for the iPhone cause I can [...]
My colleague purchased the phone over the weekend and told me about the deal that Singtel is running for the newly launched phone. Quite a good deal for such a phone with such good connectivity.
You can purchase the phone at $168 with selected plans from Singtel and from what I understand the promo ends today. [...]
It’s coming soon, hurray the mobile device which I am so waiting for. I’ve always been so fascinated by this little portable wonder.
Multi-touch, cover flow, maps, HSDPA. Hmm… when you list down the functions it really does not match up to the N95 8GB other then the fact that they have a touch screen with [...]
Before I’m getting my hands on the preview set, I guess it’s really tinker around the various webpages where people have already put up information on these handsets to get a better understanding at the same time different angle of view on the products. I checked out a report on this website.

iSync is not supported by Sony Ericsson and I cannot syncronize my contacts and my schedule with the phone! Argh, I’ve got to pick up and use this phone again, I guess notthing beats using your own mobile phone ya?
Been looking around for alternate solutions to get my schedule onto my M600i but it’s going [...]

Argh, I was in a hurry to try out the online services and I uploaded a couple of pictures into my flickr account. They software REMOVED my photos from the phone and uploaded them into my flickr account. The problem is, the images were RESIZED and I got a low resolution photo! So those who [...]
With the not so successful nGage, or that’s in my opinion. Nokia is in the process of creating yet another “gaming console”. Personally I’m quite skeptical about the feasibility of the phone, with the Nintendo DS and the PSP, portable gaming consoles have become very advanced and not to mention the many companies which are [...]
Here’s an odd one for you, a Nokia patent application just revealed those images above. The odd part is not so much the slider mechanism they are attempting to patent. Rather, it’s the use of those dumbed-down product images instead of the purposely vague schematic usually submitted to the USPTO. And if we’re not mistaken, [...]
“Of course the 3G iPhone is coming, that’s clearly in the evolution plan. As Jobs said himself, it’s only a matter of time until improved batteries allow for it. Still, when AT&T’s CEO Randall Stephenson says, “You’ll have it next year,” well, our ears tend to perk up.” - via engadget
Nokia has been playing around [...]
Big booth with a nice background for the Nseries
Made a quick trip down to see the booth and check out what Nokia had to offer the new N82, which the images were take with is on sale at $998 if I remember correctly. Not the cheapest for a 5mpx camera phone I should say.
Product shots [...]
“Homegrown music talents in the Asia-Pacific region now have a new platform to showcase their latest song creations. The Independent Artists Club Web site launched recently by Nokia aims to promote local artists in the region by allowing them to upload their songs on the Web for music fans around the world to enjoy.” - [...]

truphone.com, these guys created some software that seamlessly integrates with various Nokia models (Nokia E60, E61, E61i, E65, E70 E90, N80 Internet Edition and N95) to allow phone calls over the Internet.Sound quality is decent but it does suffer for a little lag time so a “hello” takes about 1 - 2 seconds to [...]

Someone I know has some problems with his mobile phone, he is currently using the N70 and sent it into Nokia because of a speaker problem cause he is unable to hear the other party. From my understanding, you send the phone, they fix the problem and tell you that your contacts are going to [...]
Just last week, two of my friends were frantically trying to find the Nokia E90. But to our surprise there was a lack of stocks. Going through the Nokia website and calling most of the local Nokia authorised retailers only to be turned down by the dreaded words, “Sorry no stock”. Even the mobile operators [...]
Finally! How can you deny women their passion for pink? I was at Plaza Singapura the other night trying to get hooked up with a great deal for the E65. Yeah, it only cost S$88 with a 2 year contract, who could resist the temptation to get such a popular phone at such a fantastic [...]
When I saw the Nokia N95 and what it could do, I was quite impressed at how much power Nokia managed to squeeze into such a small form factor. It uses one of the fastest processors for the Symbian OS, ARM-11 based Texas Instruments OMAP2420 runing at 330MHz and has a 2D/3D graphic accelerator.
The phone [...]
It’s not an easy process I should say and it does [...]
What better way to test the internal keybaord then through a blog post? I do feel a little handicapped and the internal keyboard although helps in the entry still requires some amount of effort, you cannot use it like a normal keyboard. Experienced typists would [...]
