Well the price plans seem steep and buying the phone seems quite steep as well. So I think I’ll wait and see what Singtel has to offer before I head down and perhaps grab one for myself.

I found out about this game from my manager who played it on his Nokia 6210, yeah it’s a ermz… entry level phone but running Symbian. So this little Java game got me intrigued and I search all over the net to find this game.
Guess what! It’s a free download or so I think, anyway [...]

I was in the office the other day and wondered what would be the outcome of the Singapore Table Tennis matches as there were some very intense conversations going on in the online forums on the match but I had to see if for myself.
I remembered that Starhud did some streaming for the olympics channels [...]

Was checking out the various power options to keep my power hungry phone (with 3G switched on) alive and well I stumbled upon a solution by Nokia.
Tada!! Introducting the Nokia powerpack DC-1, looks nice and keeps your phone juiced up for all you portability needs. Pretty expensive though, at approximately 105 euros a pop, I [...]

I think this is a much talked about topic but mostly done in the form of stress tests, drop tests etc. But I wonder how durable should a mobile gadget be before it’s called worthy to be priced rather expensively.
Miniaturisation of parts and packing more into the phone all placed into a small encasement would [...]

I’ve been using my E65 for say less then a year and it is starting to show signs of failure. Quite scary to know that my phone can potentially die on my soon. I’ve set my eyes on the new E71 after having trial the phone a couple of weeks back.
Apologies for the lack in [...]

Yes! I’m correct, other keen eyed gadgeteers also noticed the debut of the phone on the movie, it only had about 4 - 5 seconds of air time, when Morgan Freeman took the phone and handed it to the security at the same time took it out when it rang during his meeting with a [...]

Thanks Nokia for the tickets to the Gala Premier of Batman: The Dark Knight. Exciting show that kept me on my feet all the time, wondering what will happen next. The story is fantastic with me amazed at how twisted the author’s mind is when creating the story.

Beautiful portrayal of the Joker by the late [...]

I’m using a E65 currently, it’s a great phone and all but the slider seems to have some problems with the circuits, sometimes when I slide the phone down it restarts and even worse it shuts down without me realising!!
Maybe it’s cause I too violent bah… hmm… but should it not show you the screen [...]

iPhone coming soon to Hong Kong?
It’s going to Hong Kong first before making it’s stop in Singapore. Rumor has it that the phone will be retailing for approximately HK$4000 with a contract that’s about S$700 for the phone. Things sure do not look promising and I wonder what the launch price will be? Sigh… [...]

Hmm… Nokia connecting people? Or are their service centers disconnecting them?I’ve just got to rant on this issue, there should be some changes done on the operational guidelines for the service at Nokia Care Centers! With new phones and the new features how much more time would it take for you blokes to copy the [...]

I guess it’s a no brainer for most people cause the rational is quite simple. Since I’m going to be using my phone for the next X years why not just re-contract and enjoy a smashing new handset at a subsidised price?
Currently I’m thinking if I should wait out for the iPhone cause I can [...]

My colleague purchased the phone over the weekend and told me about the deal that Singtel is running for the newly launched phone. Quite a good deal for such a phone with such good connectivity.
You can purchase the phone at $168 with selected plans from Singtel and from what I understand the promo ends today. [...]

It’s coming soon, hurray the mobile device which I am so waiting for. I’ve always been so fascinated by this little portable wonder.
Multi-touch, cover flow, maps, HSDPA. Hmm… when you list down the functions it really does not match up to the N95 8GB other then the fact that they have a touch screen with [...]

Wow, suddenly I found a new lease of life with the loaned N95 8GB. I think it’s better that I stick to a single brand of mobile phone. Having to carry multiple chargers around is quite the hassle.

This is one thing I really dislike about the phone. It’s the navigation button. I’m certain it’s a cost issue rather then an aesthetic issue. What I hate about the button is the single piece construct as opposed to the double piece construct which is seen on my E65 where the selection button is separate [...]

It’s not the first time this happened already. I have had to shut down and power up the phone again because of some silly system error. It happens when I make use of the camera and at times it will just display a message saying an error occurred, power off and on the phone again.
Argh! [...]

With the not so successful nGage, or that’s in my opinion. Nokia is in the process of creating yet another “gaming console”. Nokia has launch the N95 twice, once as the N95 and the second as the N95 8GB. I think the phone is great and many love the phone and like the way it provides the integrated capabilities which every road warrior desires. So how can we continue to evolve the N95? Saw this topic [...]

Here’s an odd one for you, a Nokia patent application just revealed those images above. The odd part is not so much the slider mechanism they are attempting to patent. Rather, it’s the use of those dumbed-down product images instead of the purposely vague schematic usually submitted to the USPTO. And if we’re not mistaken, [...]

Managed to pick up the N82 and play around with the phone, the main feature which I think this phone stands out from the others is the camera capabilities.
