Living in the information age sometimes means that communication through cell phones, computers and internet can be very important to us. Recently, I was appalled to find out that my cell phone did not receive SMSes that were sent to me.

Even though this is not the first time it happened (the last time was a year ago), I wasn’t really keen to call up to my service provider again to get excuses like, “It’s your phone’s problem.”or go through a series of long manual configuration on my phone when it was already configured correctly. The situation did not improve until I changed the phone. So, my question is, was it really the phone problem? If so, what could be the possibly reason behind such occurance?

Right now, I’m not using the previous phone but the same problem came back again. I’m not sure why does this always happen to me. It is really annoying when such problems can turn a simple miscommunication to great misunderstanding with people at work and personal life. Well, we may own the latest technlogy and gadgets but it has probably made all of us the victims of technology.
