Received good news that I’ll get to trial use Nokia E71 next week! In case you’re wondering, it’s the one on the right.
This is such an ideal QWERTY phone that I can use for work purposes cos’ I have a second line for work which is struggling on an old phone that looks terribly abused.
With both white steel and grey steel colours that look so good, I can only fantasise now. (I’ll probably get white steel colour. Again, fantasise.) There are even work mode and leisure mode for me to switch according to my liking. Well, it’s labeled “Smart Simplicity” on Nokia’s website so I really hope the phone lives up to it. Smart simplicity is definitely what I’m looking for my work phone.
I have no more phone plans to sign up, no phone vouchers to use, and no spare money to spend anymore.
After using it for trial, I’ll be left high and dry without it. Sigh. Cest la vie!
P/S One week of trial usage is way too short to get the phone user experience. It’s like a mad rush to try out everything just for review. : (

I have to agree on the fact that 1 week is way too short a time for us to experience the phone. I mean on the very surface level it’s ok but to understand the hardware and really play with some of the hidden functions take time and a bit of luck. Well although it’s nice of them to loan us the phone I do hope that Nokia can consider giving the Gurus a little more privillage like have a few dedicated sets for the Gurus to play around with for a longer time.
