Yak Yak Yak, NON-stop
My boyfriend’s family has a maid.
She can cook a variety of dishes, yet she doesn’t cook all the time. She keeps the house fairly clean, but she never clean the cats’ poo or aquarium. If I have to describe her in one sentence, she is a lazy maid. Lazy with a capital L.
Okay. Let’s call her “L”.
L has a cell phone. She uses N73 and wears the ear phones almost 24/7 - especially when the big boss is not around. L loves talking on the phone and her favourite talking spot is at the garden, where the breeze is nice and the air is fresh. Whenever she’s on the phone, she speaks like a machine gun. Her ramblings can go to the moon and back and she is still not done. Sometimes, I wonder what is there to say to spend the entire afternoon on the phone. Sometimes, I suspect she is flirting with some men.
With the amount of time spent on the phone, I’m terribly amazed that she could still keep herself employed. Maybe she doesn’t steal. Maybe she doesn’t create troubles. Or maybe her employers are just too nice.
Once, she mentioned to me with passion that if my boyfriend wanted her to work for him in future, she would gladly take up the job. But between you and me, he said he would fire her immediately.
Lazy, talkative and addicted to her cell phone. Can you accept such a maid?
