I do understand some of the issues were resolved with the firmware update. One was that when sliding to reveal the keypad the screen would not turn on so everything was pitch black.
I’ve not had much issues with this phone at the moment however one think I dislike is the way the screen constantly orientates itself.
For example I answer a call and keypad is upright, when I place it on my face it changes the orientation, so when it come upright there is the “lag” due to the switching. Also sometimes the orientation is vertical when placing the phone flat on the table, when I hold it up the orientation changes and the “slide” to answer changed orientation too. Basically it’s an “orientation” problem, just have to get “oriented” to the phone hahaha.
BTW thanks Ch33kster for the question, care for a Comes With Music Lanyard? Drop me a PM.
comments regarding nokia phones.. mmmm… i thought the series after N82 and N96 were pretty disastrous, except for maybe N79, because I bought N85 and sent it in for repair for more than a month and it came back with more problems. Checked online regarding issues with n85, and a lot of people faced the same problem as i did. Quite disappointed because i am a fan of N series.
So far, looking at the latest N series of 86 and 97, i think 86 is pretty disappointing, but n97 seems cool hehe. might consider getting that phone. Any issues regarding that phone that you happen to know of?
