Not that my phone is not (Made in China) MIC, however there seems to be a large number of “China brand” phones available on the market these days. So apart from the regular brands like Nokia, Samsung etc. we’ve been given more choices.

From the images I found, the phones look like replicas from some of those phones which I have seen before, although I’ve not actually tried one, of those I saw before, I would say the interface for me is quite a turn off and the screens are of lower quality as compared to some of the newer models which the mainstream brands have to offer.

Well my reasons for not “jumping ship” although some are quite cheap are simple.

1) Warranty issues - who is going to provide support? Some support is better then no support at all.

2) Quality - I would not know the quality of the components used in the phone, as mentioned I found the software looked rather badly designed and the screens look washed out.

3) Safety - I do not know what materials go into making the phone and also I have my doubts on RF emissions (are they within safe limits?)

Anyway I think for now I’ll stick to the regular mainstream brands. Oh on that note, the E75 feels like a good phone, really nice to have QWERTY keyboard less the bulk, comes with a nice leather case as well (like the Sirroco 8800 cases).
