Other then fascination for phones, eh wait I think all electronics in general. I also take a keen interest in gaming and yeah I do play a fair bit (remember boys and girls to allocate your time properly, remember gaming is not everything). Those playing Gears of War 2 can find me on Xbox Live almost every night between 10pm - 12am.

However getting the gaming fix on the move proves to be quite a chore for me, yeah I know there is the PSP and the Nintendo DS, however it’s extra equipment which I have to bring around and would prove more of a hassle.

Nokia has n.gage platform which offers quite a variety of games for their mobile phones. So if you’re looking to play some games on your S60 device just hop over to their online store and get some action for your Nokia handset.

I’ve noticed that the n.gage store now offers quite a fair bit of games as compared to when it was first introduced with the n.gage handset (remember that very bulky handset where you need to answer calls using the side of the phone).

Games featured include Electronic Arts titles like Monopoly Here & Now : World Edition, Need for Speed: Undercover. Also there is an online version of n.gage magazine which is free of charge.

The other feature that I like is the ability to try out the games before making a purchase. So that I can get a better idea if the game that I’m about to purchase is really something that I’ll spend hours playing (must be wise, economy is bad).

So if you’re into gaming on the move, probably you can try out some of the games on your Nokia handset, maybe it will be your solution to the boring ride home from work. Oh and Monopoly costs SGD$15, pretty affordable don’t you think?
