Saw this article on The Nokia Blog, think this deserves a mention. The story depicts a student, whom instead of lugging around his MacBook Pro (it rawks btw) choose to simplify things by making use of his trusty Nokia E71 to take his notes.

I guess the idea is simple, just spending a little more on a wireless bluetooth keyboard. You can pair up your Nokia handset (with S60) and get down to some serious typing.

I would recommend the following

Yup! None other then the Apple Wireless keyboard, forgive me I’m an Apple fan.

There are also other note taking tips from the author for example using the phone as a voice recorder to take down the lecture and transcribe later.

Another thing which you may want to consider is taking a video or photo of the lecture, this way you can get the notes while the lecturer is teaching and replay if you miss out on anything important.
