I encountered some difficulties trying to set up my e-mail accounts, which was later resolved with the help of a more savvy friend. It was pretty much smooth-sailing besides that little hiccup in the beginning. Before long, I was retrieving attachments and e-mails with ease. It’ll be icing on the cake though, if the Nokia E71 incorporated support for HTML e-mails.

Easy setup. I can get my email setup in less than 5 minutes. It has all the relevant software required to open attachments too, for example ZIP, PDF, MS Word, etc. The only thing I would complain about is the delete e-mails function. After deleting, all the emails will still be listed in the e-mail folder.

I was amazed at how easy it was to configure my e-mail accounts with the Nokia E71’s e-mail wizard. Thanks to the 3G connection as well, it was within only a matter of minutes that I was reading my office e-mails and POP3 e-mails on the go. Also, because the phone gives me the option to either retrieve an attachment or not, it allows me to save on the costs of data transfers. Kudos to such a nifty and thrifty smart phone!
