3.2 megapixels is not much to shout about, but the camera does take and get me what I really need. Some good quality candid shots are what this phone is about, fire up the camera and capture that moment when you need it. The 2GB memory is not much with microSD cards going up to 8GB, a quick upgrade would give more space for more images and songs, especially since the phone is always on the move with you.

Being quite disappointed at having only a 3.2 megapixel camera, as a hobbyist photographer, I gave the camera a second chance after discovering what was lacking in resolution was compensated with the colours and quality of the image. There was barely any shutter-lag and autofocus was pretty fast. And it even supports Geotagging!

Location tagging is a great tool that automatically tags my images without having me do all the work. However, with only just 3.2 megapixels, it makes it difficult for high-end phone users who have been enjoying taking pictures on their mobile phone to switch to the N78 for such a novelty.

Nonetheless, the images look sharp with stable hands and a flash if the room light is dim. While the camera captures best during daytime, it is a disappointment for night shots. This works best for people who are not picky about their photo quality.
