Taking photos on the N78 is easier and faster than other phones that I have used and the quality of the pictures are good and clear. My only comment is that the button to navigate between photos is too sensitive.

At 3.2 megapixels, the picture quality was acceptable. Images taken were clear and colourful, although personally, I felt it was a bit too saturated. One noticeable function was the Geotagging, which provided the location information in the EXIF data. I took some pictures and checked the location via Nokia Maps and Google Maps and it was accurate. So there’s no worry about forgetting where the picture was taken, especially while travelling overseas. I tried it in a hawker centre (is that considered indoor?) and the Geotagging was successful.

I compared the photo quality with the N82 and found that the colours are better on the N78. The N82 tends to overexpose subjects with its flash, while the N78 doesn’t have this problem. The Carl Zeiss Optics did its part in producing vivid pictures. Say goodbye to dull pictures.
