The camera works well and has a better resolution when compared with my Sony Ericsson, which has the same number of megapixels. Could it be due to the Carl Zeiss lens? Although for a new phone, I would have expected the camera to have a higher number of megapixels, like maybe 5? I like the photo gallery view.

I was never big on using my mobile as a camera, but having the N78 with 3.5-megapixels and packing a Carl Zeiss lens with quick snapping features, it’s just a shame not to. So I’m now taking great pictures & sending it to all my friends in my contact list in my phone! Hehe.. My social quotient has gone up.

As it is with the N73, the N78’s pictures are great in results. I have even used some of the photos to print as an A2 (420 x 594 mm) poster for a client. And the new camera start button (activated by pressing for a few seconds) is very much better than the N73 version of having a sliding cover. I had a lot of problems with that. And the location tagging capability is cool too. This will be great in creating blogs and the tagging pictures look great in it.
