    Reading off the tablet is also a joy. Linux has applications that supports all the popular format and as a result, I have no problems reading my ebook. (PDF, TXT, RTF, CHM). The experience is definitely better that reading from a PDA.

    Being a tech enthusiast, the N800’s Linux operating system is a huge draw for me. There is a wealth of applications available via the Maemo community and more open-source applications are being ported to the N800. Maemo is the codename given to the N770/N800’s application development environment. From time to time, the community also release patches to upgrade the N800’s software capabilities and to fix bugs, in addition to the regular updates provided by Nokia.

    Touch screen sensitiveness has been improved through software enhancements. Screen areas with an intensive usage registers events more efficiently.
