Sound quality is definitely above average. With the standard navigation button, shuffling through tracks is easy and the screen will display the album cover and information if available.

Video playback was smooth and nice on the phone’s big screen. Playing supported video and music formats is pretty much idiot-proof.

Subsonic is an exciting new game that comes with Nokia N96. Unfortunately, downloading new games was a nightmare. I tried downloading a game but it took hours and I fell asleep. When I woke up, the battery was flat so I re-charged it, but the game was still not there. I wonder if it’s a bug from the Nokia site. However, installing free-trial games already included in the package was easy and waiting time for setup to load was minimal.
