Underneath the Nokia N96’s sleek good looks and solid build, this multimedia powerhouse enables me to share my media files on unit or on TV using the video-out cable. The Nokia N96 keeps me connected to myself, my friends and the world wherever I am. I personally enjoyed typing on Nokia N96’s wide plastic encased keypad (not for the fastest fingers, of course) and watching videos on the beautiful 2.8″ QVGA screen. The pre-installed Quickoffice application will be useful for busy young executives (like myself) who do simple office documents on-the-go. The Nokia N96’s operating system is relatively stable by itself. However, it hanged a few times when I updated my transferred media files into the phone using the Nokia Nseries PC Suite program. The 950mAH battery life was alright, lasting up to two full days with frequent multimedia playbacks, gaming, using WiFi and GPS. If I needed my battery to last longer, I have to cut back on my Nokia N96 activities.

It was ready to go once out of the box and little setup was required. Its construction is a little disappointing as it doesn’t seem very solid. It takes some time to get used to the buttons but the screen is absolutely beautiful! Its many features meant it was constantly in use, whether it be gaming, GPS or even just listening to music.
