The Nokia N96 is a nice phone with a huge internal memory of 16 GB. Storing large amounts of data will not be a problem for heavy users.

As an educator, there are very few things that have managed to render me speechless. The Nokia N96 did just that. Like a well crafted Swiss army knife, it had the right tool for every occasion. The range of options available meant that there was never a boring moment around this little technological marvel. The Nokia N96 is not just a phone; it is a mobile entertainment system that has cramped in it everything you’ll ever need on the road into one stunning gadget.
Most importantly, the bane of handhelds has often been that of a poorly designed PC suite that made data transfer an absolute nightmare. Nokia has certainly bucked the trend in this aspect, with a user friendly and efficient PC suite. Data transfer is about as intuitive as it gets. There was absolutely no pain in filling up the portable entertainment system with content freshly acquired on my home PC. Now if only it irons the shirts too!

I had 1 week to get a handful of this gadget (thank you Hardware Zone!). The metallic-plastic casing is much durable than its predecessor, the Nokia N95, but it could be rather bulky for a lady user. Also, locking/unlocking the phone could be easier. The Nokia N96 comes with a micro USB cable, which not only allows me to do file transfers and data synchronization, but also charges my phone at the same time. This really makes Nokia up-to-mark with the rest of their competitors. I was rather disappointed that the keypads, which might look bold and sleek, lacked sensitivity. I had to use strength while messaging. Launching applications from the phone might be slow at times, and I wonder what could be running in the background. Another drawback is the weak battery power, which is what would really make a heavy user like me reconsider this phone.
Nevertheless, Nokia N96 is a gadget that comprises of advanced media technology, camera, imaging, video, large storage capacity of 16GB and entertaining games. Not just that, the high speed web surfing experience and multimedia features will sweep you away.
