ClearVid CMOS Sensor™ with Exmor™-derived Technology

Tasked with capturing the light that enters the camcorder’s lens is the ClearVid CMOS Sensor™ with Exmor™-derived Technology, a miniature technological marvel which enables the camcorder to “see” what it’s shooting. Improvements over the original ClearVid CMOS Sensor™ include a higher sensitivity to light, made possible by increasing the size of each capture pixel and realigning them at a 45° angle.
